Norman Metzger, Executive Director at Indiana Legal Services, Announces Retirement
Norman Metzger who has spent his entire legal career in pursuit of justice for the poor and vulnerable persons announced that he will retire on March 31, 2014.
From the time in 1970 when he was appointed Executive Director of the Legal Service Organization of Indianapolis, Inc., his insightful leadership has been critical to the successful evolution of the not-for-profit law firm that served persons in a single county to one that provides legal help to persons in all 92 Indiana counties. Today Indiana Legal Services, Inc., with its 52 attorneys, is the largest poverty law firm in the state.
