Summary of March 19, 2020 Executive Order from Gov. Holcomb
On March 19, 2020, Gov. Holcomb issued an executive order in response to the COVID-19 crisis. Full text available here. It does several things, some of which are listed below. As more information becomes available, we will provide updates.
Unemployment Insurance (file for benefits here)

Benefits to workers “displaced” by COVID-19.

late claims for benefits if the delay was caused by COVID-19.
Medicaid:

Waive all Healthy Indiana Plan (HIP) and Children’s Health Insurance (CHIP) premium payment requirements.

Allows for increased use of “tele-health” for certain services.
TANF:

Waives “upfront” job search requirements.
Veterans:

Veterans may apply for the Military Veterans Relief Fund without having a service-connected hardship or having served during a time of war or conflict. This can pay for certain necessities like rent, food, mortgage, and utilities.

MVRF awards may be approved over $2,500.
Utilities and Essential Services:

Suspends utility shut-offs
